Welcome to The Rimmer Family History Society's web site. I'm Lesley Rimmer, the webmaster of this site. I update it when I receive information from the Committee Members or anybody else who wishes to contribute something, unfortunately this is not very often. I am not Family History orientated so I have to depend upon second - hand information, if you can help me out by adding more information please Contact Us.
We will welcome anybody to come and have a look around especially if you are looking for Rimmer information. I hope you find some useful information or at least if you follow a link from the site you find what it is that you are looking for - Good Luck and feel free to call back just in case I suddenly find out what it's all about!!
USA RIMMER REUNION in Statesville - Saturday July 31st 2010
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Rimmer Family History Society was formed after two previous Rimmer Reunions held in the North West of England. It was at the 2004 Rimmer Reunion where The Rimmer Family History Society was founded, thanks to the initiative of our Chairman Gladys Rimmer Armstrong.
The Society publishes a quarterly magazine called 'The Rimmer Review' and holds an Annual Reunion (usually in October) for members of the Society and those interested in the Rimmer Surname. This years Reunion which was held on Sunday 11th October 2009 was a success and was attended by our President - Simon Rimmer. We also hold a growing collection of books, family trees and data associated with the Rimmer surname.
The Society uses the surname Rimmer but recognises that: Reamer ~ Rimer ~ Rhymer ~ Rumur ~ Rymer ~ Rymmer and Rymore are variants of the Rimmer surname.
Look out for our new banner at future Family History Events, come over and say hello, maybe we will be able to help you find the missing link.
